Arthur, by Guionne Leroy

Imprint brings to the stage a one-of-a kind cinematic experience guaranteed to capture the hearts and minds of little ones. A carefully curated collection of films from pioneers in animation, to Iranian master Abbas Kiarostami's first short film, to stop motion and clay animation techniques, this 42 minute visual experience is meant to alter the lens through which children view the moving image and open up a world of possibilities for its ability to transform and inspire.

Following the showing, Roberto Minervini, an award-winning Houston-based filmmaker, will lead a Q&A and discussion on what the children experienced. Roberto's last film, Stop the Pounding Heart premiered at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival and will screen at the New Directors/New Films Festival at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Film Society of Lincoln Center in New York this coming March.

Open to ages 3-8.
