STAGED READING July 7
6PM - 9PM

14 Pews is excited to offer a new 8-week, WRITING FOR THE STAGE AND SCREEN WORKSHOP which starts May 12, 2018.  The class will meet once a week on Saturday from 10AM - 1PM @ 14 Pews.  The class will cover - from pitching your idea, to outlining, researching ideas, to writing dialogue, developing strong characters, raising the stakes, and rewriting, all the way to finally hearing your script/play read out loud.  Professional actors will participate in the Staged Reading and will read the first 10-pages.
We'll then invite the audience and actors to provide feedback, which can be invaluable to a writer. The class will be limited to 8 writers.
