An Armadillo Christmas -- This wonderful West Texas version of the classic poem "The Night Before Christmas" is something every family should own. Jolly Old St. Nicholas is dressed in fox squirrel "from his head to his foot" as he careens across West Texas in his sleigh full of toys, pulled by eight armadillo. Humorously written by Cressandra Thibodeaux and illustrated by renowned Texas artist Bill Megenhardt. This delightful book is a new version of an old classic tale with a new West Texas twist.

Author - Cressandra Thibodeaux
makes films, plays and other things. When she was small, she spent every moment drawing, dancing, dressing cats in fancy clothes, and having many spectacular daydreams. When she grew up, she began to write those daydreams.  She works in the back of an old wooden church, in a small room filled with musical instruments, children's books and old VHS tapes. She lives in Houston, TX with her two rescue dogs Rusty and Hazel.

Illustrator - Bill Megenhardt has always been drawn to storytelling and the art connected to it. He got his introduction to the art of storytelling when he was a young boy by studying the Sunday morning comics and later superhero comic books. It was a natural progression for him to join the world of Children’s storytelling.  Bill graduated from Kent State University with a degree in illustration. He has worked as a graphic designer/illustrator for a variety of companies, until presently doing freelance design work.
