14 Pews Film Academy makes films on Houston artists, while teaching the art of filmmaking. This summer we will be teaching several one-week filmmaking workshops to teens. And we are ecstatic that the documentaries created in our school will have their World Premiere at the Houston Cinema Arts Festival in November 2017. For our summer documentary workshops we are highlighting Houston artists: Jesse Lott, Terrell James and the Mydolls In addition, several individuals and organizations will also be highlighted within these videos like: Art League, Project Row Houses, MFA Houston, Dan Allison, Vida Lott, Margaret and H.J. Bott, Dan Workman, Sugarhill Studios and Rick Lowe.
